What was your motivation?
I was on a Keto diet and noticed it was not working for me. I was losing muscle, which was not what I wanted to happen to my body. I didn’t like the way I looked. I also packed on a lot of weight over the holidays and was disgusted with myself.
My knees, back, and everything hurt. I sometimes felt like an old lady, and I’ve always been athletic. I used to put everything and everyone first. That is the worst mistake that we as humans can make. Never again! I’m finally choosing to put myself 1st!
What inspired you to start your weight loss journey?
I was inspired by looking back at old photos. I came across photos of when I did the Fitness on Fire program back in 2013. I loved how I looked and wanted to get back to that. So I contacted Nia, the online nutritionist @Nutritionistguru, and got started with Fitness on Fire again.
Also, I didn’t like how clothes fit me, and I knew I had to do something about it. That’s what inspired me to restart my journey.
How did you change your eating habits?
I just follow the nutrition structure given to me by Nia. She holds me accountable and ensures I am getting in the right amount of calories with proper and balanced nutrition and healthy food choices.
I stopped making all the unhealthy food choices I was making before joining (i.e., fast food, fried food, and high-fat foods). Instead, I truly followed the regimen NutritionistGuru gave me as it worked for my body. She is excellent at what she does, and the results speak for themselves.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I follow the fitness regimen given to me by my online trainer, “@King_of_the_fire. He is the online trainer for the Fitness on Fire program. I work out 5 to 6 days a week. I basically do exactly what Fire tells me to get the results I paid for. I am so happy.
How long did your transformation take?
My transformation from when I started to where I am currently took six months, but I’m not done yet. This is just a progress report. I am continuing my fitness journey with Fitness on Fire. I am not stopping this time. I am motivated by how amazing I feel, how I look in clothes, and the compliments I get. Also, overall I just feel healthier—no more pain and feeling like an old lady.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
My advice is to join@FITNESS_ON_FIRE if you want help transforming your body. Check out their Instagram and Facebook pages. The results are there, and they speak for themselves. Look at me! I am not done yet! These people are body magicians! They give you the tools needed to succeed; all you have to do is follow their guidance. They actually want you to succeed!
