What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I was so tired of giving up on myself. I never finished things that were for me. I was good to everyone else in my life except me. So I wanted to keep going for me.

How did you change your eating habits?
I paid attention to “when” I reached for unhealthy foods. I found that I was an emotional eater. I would eat a healthy meal, but on a stressful day, I planned secret meals. These were meals that consisted of high-fat foods, fast-food, ice cream, and cake.

I gave up these goods and stopped calling them “cravings.” I broke up with my relationship with food. I started eating to live.

Now, I eat when I’m hungry. I eat fruits, vegetables, baked/air fryer meats, and some crock pot dishes. Of course, I don’t always eat fruits and veggies, but I don’t engage in gluttony. Sometimes I’m tempted to, but I remember I’m all my body has. So I have to keep going.

What is your workout routine?
I work out at least three times a week. I do 45 mins to an hour of cardio and like to work on my abs and FUPA area. After that, I’ll do about 20 minutes of ab workouts.

I go to the gym for most of these workouts, but I’m also part of a fitness team called the “Fit Crew.” My couch is Jeremy Wallace; this was my start, and I dropped my first 30 lbs with this crew.

Before I had a membership, I did routine workouts that I learned from the Fit Crew at my own home. I even jogged in place.

How often did you work out?
I work out 3-4 days a week for 1 hour and about 15-20 mins.

What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 250 pounds. I currently weigh 198 pounds.

What is your height?
I’m 5’4″.

When did you start your journey?
I started my private journey in August 2023.

How long did your transformation take?
I’m still transforming, but it took about four months.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No. I wanted to do this naturally.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned that I’m strong, I’m stubborn in a good way, and I CAN finish things.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Know that you’re beautiful. Do it as a gift to your beautiful body. Do it from the INSIDE out. Change how you see YOU before you lose weight. Expect to transform from the inside out. Do it for YOU.
