NCAA Men’s Championships: California Poised for Big Night 2
The University of California has five swimmers in A finals of the second night session of the NCAA Men’s Championships Thursday night, the most of any school.
Cal has seven total swimmers in the finals, even with NC State. But the Wolfpack have only two A finalists and five B finalists.
Texas is second with four A finalists and six total, level with Arizona State on total swimmers. The Sun Devils have three and three. Florida has three A finalists but only one B finalist.
The night session will also include finals of men’s 1-meter diving and the 200 freestyle relay. Florida is the top seed in the relay by nearly a second over NC State. Texas is seeded 20th.
Twenty teams will have swimmers in the three individual events on Thursday night.
