How to Use Gill Mask

1. Select a Filter

Select suitable filter media for your application. Don’t use materials that are too thick or have additional materials that provide shape. Thicker doesn’t mean more protection! We recommend an ASTM level 1 or 2 surgical mask for most applications.

2. Prepare the Cartridge

Clamp the Gill Mask cartridge over the filter media and cut it to size. Carefully save unused material for future use.

3. Insert Catridge

Insert the cartridge into the receptacle on the facepiece. Ensure the correct side is facing out and close the door tightly.

4. Don the Mask

Place mask over face and adjust the strap to your comfort. Press mask to your face to ensure a seal. Exhale and make sure air does not escape from the sides of mask. Professional users should be fit-tested to ensure no leakage.
