Silicone foam dressing is indicated for wounds with moderate to heavily exudate, such as diabetic foot ulcer, pressure ulcer, leg venous and arterial ulcer, first and second degree burns, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds.

Suitable for treating wounds after cleansing and debridement treatment, conducive to the healing of the wound.

Suitable for long-term sickness in bed to prevent bedsores.

Cautions and Tips

Be sure that the central absorbent hydrocellular pad is bigger than the wound size.

Hold the dressing by hand for 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness.

Prevent cloths or equipment from rubbing on the ends of the patch to longer using.

The dressing is waterproof but not shower proof, which means that the liquid will not cross from one side of dressing to the other side but liquid can leak through the edge under the adhesive layer and loosen the adhesion. All silicone adhesive layers are generally water proof and not shower proof.

How To Use Silicone Foam Dressing

Step 1

Clean the wound in accordance with normal procedures .Ensure surrounding skin is clean, dry and free from excess hair.

Step 2

Apply the silicone adhesive border to the dry, intact skin surrounding the wound (periwound skin). The central absorbent pad should cover the wound completely.

Step 3

Remove the release film.

Step 4

Press from the center outward gently. Hold 30 seconds to active the adhesiveness.
