Amazon Prime Day is back, but it’s certainly not the only place to get good deals right now. This year major retailers and independent brands are squaring up with the e-commerce titan by offering the best non-Amazon Prime Day deals of their own.
The list of other places to score savings goes on and on. So even if you’re not an Amazon Prime member—or you just won’t settle for anything less than the very best deals—there are plenty of serious non-Amazon Prime Day alternative sales to explore.
The best non-Amazon Prime Day deals
1. Target ‘Deal Days’: July 11-13
Target is launching its competitive deals a day before Amazon Prime Day, promising three, all-out days of saving, no membership needed. We’re expecting it to be as glorious as last year’s event, which offered shoppers serious markdowns on everything from televisions to toothpaste.
What we want: TBD (check back for updates as the sales roll in).
2. Bed Bath & Beyond ‘Beyond Big Sale’: July 8-14
Get ready for six full days of major savings on just about everything at Bed Bath & Beyond’s Beyond Big Sale, which kicks off nearly a week before Amazon Prime Day starts. From July 8-14, shoppers can snag deals up to 50 percent off on sale and clearance items, including outdoor furniture, home accessories, kitchen wares, electronics, and more.
What we want: Patio furniture. Create the outdoor oasis of your dreams with discounted outdoor dining sets, seating, kitchenwares, and more. We’ve got our eyes on Studio 3B Mari 4-Piece Outdoor Chat Set ($360), which is nearly half off, and this W Home Galvanized Steel Bar Cart ($132) that’s 40 percent off.
3. Walmart ‘Deals For Days: TBD
While Walmart’s “Deals for Days” event hasn’t been confirmed yet, we have a sneaky suspicion they’ll be throwing a sales event worth celebrating around the same time as Prime Day. Last year’s event gave us deals galore—this year shouldn’t be any different.
What we want: TBD (check back for updates as the sales roll in).
4. Best Buy: July 8-15
Best Buy is being elusive about its savings event, too. All we know is that the brand is going to be price matching Amazon’s prices throughout the whole week, so you’ll have twice as many ways to score deals on home and wellness tech.
What we want: TBD (check back for updates as the sales roll in.)
5. Avène: July 8-15
French skin-care brand Avène is adored by celebrities, dermatologists, and W+G editors alike for its efficacious, minimalist beauty products you can find at your local drugstore. From July 8-15, you can stock up on “French girl” skin care with products your face and body will just soak up. And, no, it’s not just the brand’s iconic $6 Thermal Spring Water (although that’s on sale, too)—face creams, toners, body lotions, and more all are all 20 percent off and ship for free. Use the code HOWL20 at checkout to redeem your discount.
What we want: Avène Retrinal 0.1 Intensive Cream ($59), which a dermatologist previously told us is stronger than retinol, but gentle enough for dry, sensitive skin. Yes, please.
6. Three Ships: July 8-15
Three Ships is also getting in on the Prime Day action, discounting its line of derm-approved beauty products at 20 percent off. All of its products are luxe, affordable, and totally natural, made using only vegan, natural ingredients backed by science. Best part is, they look adorable on your bathroom counter, and work just as well, too. Use the code HOWL20 at checkout to score big on skincare.
What we want: Anything that’ll get our skin through the sweltering summer heat, like the Dew Drop Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum ($28) that hydrates and brightens, or the Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner ($14) for a burst of floral freshness on the go.
7. Klorane: July 8-15
Treat your tresses to some TLC during Klorane’s sale, happening July 8-15. Everything is 20 percent off and ships for free when you use the code HOWL20, including its fan-favorite Strengthening Shampoo with Quinine and Edelweiss ($18), which shoppers have raved about for its hair-thickening super powers. *Adds to cart*
What we want: A dry shampoo that won’t leave our hair feeling chalky (or sticky, or matted down.) Klorane dry shampoos are all plant-based and powerful, giving you a fresh, clean feeling your normal dry shampoo doesn’t. Our picks? The award-winning Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk ($16) or the Volumizing Dry Shampoo with Flax ($16).
8. Coco & Eve: July 8-15
Coco & Eve is another goldmine for coveted beauty products all inspired by the magic of Bali. Its line of vacation-inspired hair, skin, and beauty goodies are all made with efficacious Balinese ingredients you’ll never question putting on your body, like mangoes, papaya, and guava. Save 20 percent on your Coco & Eve purchase when you shop July 8-15 and use the code HOWL20.
What we want: A tropical getaway in a bottle, like the sun-drenched Glow Figure Bounce Body Mask ($16) that’s scented like dragonfruit and sweet lychee, or the creamy coconut Like A Virgin Hair Masque ($32).

The DTC homewares brand is a one-stop-shop for all-things cozy, including blankets, throw pillows, robes, and more. What we want: TBD (check back for updates as the sales roll in.)
10. Molecule: July 12-13
Speaking of sleep essentials, Molecule’s line of cooling mattresses, pillow toppers, shams, and bedding buys are discounted for two days, too. From July 12-13, all comforters, duvets, and shams are 50 percent off, while sheet sets and pillows are 40 percent off. The crown jewel of the sale, however, has to be the mattresses, which are bound to give you a dreamy night’s sleep.
What we want: One of the mattresses. Specifically, the Molecule Hybrid ($1,138), which are all 33 percent off, and the cooling Molecule 2 Airtec ($1,006), which are all 20 percent off. Prices vary depending on the size.
11. Outerknown Semi-Annual Sale: July 13-24

Whether you’re still restocking your summer wardrobe or are already gearing up for the cooler months, the brand has something worth adding to your cart.
What we want: Some of the brand’s best-selling pieces, like the classic Blanket Shirt ($148) (a must for breezy nights) and the Sea Suit Shortall ($88), the cooler, warm-weather version of the editor-approved Sea Suit.
12. Saks Fifth Avenue Sale: July 12-14
For two days, Saks Fifth Avenue is offering an additional 20 percent off sale and clearance items across the site. So, if you’ve been looking to indulge in some luxury beauty products, chic accessories, or classic fashion styles, the time is now.
What we want: Designer cosmetics. Try a bright Guerlain Lipstick ($42) on that summer pout or let your skin sleep like a baby in Dr. Sebagh Retinol Night Repair ($56).

Burn through all your summer candles already? Otherland has got you covered. The whimsical candle brand will be throwing its first Summer Sale from July 12-17, online and at its new flagship store in Soho. The core collection and spring and summer seasonal scents will be up to 35 percent off, as well as exclusive merchandise and mini candles in-store only.
What we want: To turn our home into a classy beach club. Light up the salty Freshwater Pearl ($23) or the sweet, juicy Melonspell ($23).
