What was your motivation?
I wanted to get healthy for myself. However, once I became a mom, I wanted to be healthy to be the best person of me for her.
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
When I began to see results, like losing the first 10 pounds, I became hooked. I was able to still eat good food and lose weight.
How did you change your eating habits?
I completely changed my eating habits by eliminating sugar and cutting back on carbs. I hired a Keto Coach and joined KetoFineAF, a 60-day weight loss program. It was a process, but by week three, I no longer had an urge for sugar. I also found myself learning how to substitute keto options for my past favorite meals.
How often did you work out?
What is your workout routine?
I mostly walked when I first started doing keto. The weight came off so well without me even exercising.
What was your starting weight?
What is your current weight?
What is your height?
When did you start your journey?
How long did your transformation take?
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned that it is truly a lifestyle, and I am happy I got the weight loss coaching and support I needed. People don’t realize how important it is to get support for weight loss. Being in a group with like-minded individuals and people sharing meal ideas and motivation helped and inspired me.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Stay encouraged, and take your journey seriously because your health depends on it. Change your relationship with food. Once I was able to do keto correctly, I no longer craved foods. I found other things to do besides eat when I was bored.
