Transformation of the Day: Cindy lost 27 pounds. Feeling unattractive and depressed about her weight, she decided to take action. She worked with a weight loss coach who provided the guidance and encouragement she needed to release the weight in 7 weeks. She’s a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

What was your motivation?
I remember waking up and getting ready for my sorority meeting (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.), and everything I tried on didn’t fit. Everything was extremely tight around my stomach. I thought to myself, “How can you go anywhere looking like you’re four months pregnant?” I felt so unattractive and became depressed about all the weight I had gained and how I looked in my clothes. I knew at that very moment that I had to make some changes. What motivated me was how I felt so unattractive with my weight gain.   

I contacted a friend who had lost weight in 35 days and looked fabulous. I asked her how she lost the weight in only 35 days. She told me to contact Terry Starks. She said he creates a weight loss plan catered to the individual, not the masses. 

So I contacted Terry, and he inspired me from the moment we first spoke. He told me we were on this weight loss journey together and would be with me every step of the way. In the first week, I lost 6 pounds! Two weeks into the plan, I looked good and felt good. After that, each week, I felt better and looked better. Another great thing about Terry is that he sends you a motivational email daily! 

How did you change your eating habits?
I’m over 50, and my metabolism had slowed, so Terry planned to jump-start my metabolism. His plan included lots of vegetables, which in the past I rarely ate. I’m a single empty nester, so I often eat fast food. Terry also explains why drinking water with each meal is so important. Terry’s plan ensured I exercised, ate the right foods, and drank plenty of water.

What was your workout routine?
Terry preached cardio. He said, “I don’t care if you jog, walk, swim, or skip, but please get your body moving.” I worked out for at least 30 minutes every day.

What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I lost 27 pounds in 7 weeks on Terry’s plan. I started at 210 pounds, and now I’m 183 pounds! I remember Terry saying stay off that scale and look at your weight loss in the mirror. When I looked in the mirror, my big stomach was gone! 

What is your height?
My height is 5’10”.

When did your journey begin?
My plan started on 19 Feb, and my transformation took seven weeks. To be honest, it could have taken less than that, but my job sent me out of town for two weeks. So I couldn’t food prep and exercise like my plan called for.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, surgery was not a part of my journey.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
My biggest lesson is to stop buying bigger clothes and do something about your weight if you’re unhappy. 

What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
I advise women who want to lose weight to contact Terry. Since my transformation, people have contacted me asking how I lost weight. Most ask how I got rid of my stomach! I let them know it took Terry motivating me and me using the weight loss plan he created just for me. I let them know he can develop a plan just for them.
