This year will also see the welcome return of classes for the littlest of dancers, with the ‘Mini Movers’ program on Saturday offering a range of classes tailored to dancers between the ages of three and seven. Older dancers will spoilt for choice by the diverse lineup of styles and instructors on offer across the entire weekend, including the likes of Cassie Bartho, Sophie Holloway, Gina Michael, Nadia Tornese, Arna Singleton, Jason Winters, Todd Patrick, Jarryd Byrne and many, many more. Originally founded in 2012 by Kate Meade to create a non-competitive environment that brings together people from different dance backgrounds and abilities, VDF has continued to grow in both scale and acclaim. Now welcoming thousands of dancers, dance teachers, studio owners, and dance parents from Australia and all across the globe to gather together and celebrate the world of dance. Staying true to its roots, VDF continues to foster a sense of inclusivity and community that makes dancers of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels feel welcome and embraced, whilst promising a weekend that will challenge and inspire each dancer who attends.
