Hale dated “The Amazing Spider-Man” actor Chris Zylka for about nine months before some cryptic tweets from Zylka suggested that the two were done. The duo first met at New Year’s Eve party, but when a fan tweeted at Zylka that his “girlfriend is gorgeous” in September 2012, Chris replied, “Don’t have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good,” per E!
Zylka later apologized in a series of tweets. “I’d like to apologize about my previous comments,” he said, per Us Weekly. “Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, but also one the most beautiful, inside and out. Anyone who’s ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her, knows this to be true.”
In January 2018, Zylka got engaged to Paris Hilton, but they split later that year.
