Jonas and Turner first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted getting cozy at the MTV EMAs in November 2016. In October 2017, they announced that they were engaged, and they tied the knot during a Las Vegas wedding in May 2019. Two months later, they had a second wedding in France with their friends and family.
In July 2020, the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Willa. Their second child, another baby girl, was born in July 2022. Things seemed to be going strong over the course of their marriage, and the pair frequently stepped out for fashionable outings and revealed tidbits about their relationship, such as how Jonas asked Turner for advice for his acting role in 2022’s “Devotion.” More recently, Turner celebrated Jonas’s birthday in August with an affectionate Instagram post showing off their matching pajamas.
On Sept. 3, however, People reported that Jonas had saught out a divorce lawyer. The same day the news broke, Jonas posted a photo on Instagram that prominently showcased his wedding ring, making fans think that the rumors were false. Unfortunately, on Sept. 6, Jonas and Turner confirmed that their marriage was over in a joint Instagram post. Reps for both stars did not respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
